You’ve all heard that blacks love fried chicken or that Asians love rice. I’ve noticed off the wall things that white people seem to love but minstrels are never made out of them. Haven’t you seen a white man, woman, or even child out in the brutal cold dressed in appropriately? It’s not unusual for me to see a white person wearing shorts in December. I’ve also seen white moms NOT bundling babies up the way they should in the cold weather. I’ve seen infants with just sox on, no hat, etc. What the heck gives?
Good ole Buzzfeed has a list of questions asking whites why they love certain things. I’ve actually asked a group of whites about short in the winter and while they acknowledged they’ve noticed it, no one could explain why it it’s done. The questions include but are not limited to:
1-Why do white people like to explore attics?
2- Why do white people like color runs?
3-Why do white people like comparing arm tans?
4- Why do white people like the woods?
5-Why do white people like playing in the snow?
Some of the questions aren’t necessarily limited to whites. The three below apply to me big time:
6- Why do whites love cheese?
7- Why do whites love avocados?
8- Why do whites put their children on leashes.
Have you ever wondered why whites like the things mentioned? What about other groups?
