Too Much Friggin Fighting Among BWE Bloggers: If You Think This Will Stop The Movement, You’ve Got Another Thing Coming!

I’m not even going to go into a discussion of  “in order for BWE to work, we must stop the mud-slinging” talk. Why? BWE can work regardless of who demonstrates that they don’t care about black women. All you need to do is write them off and join forces with those who truly do care. We can’t stop people from saying offensive things but we CAN stop them from getting under our skin. With that said, I’m going to tell you how I truly feel. Obesity among black women is appalling and should be decreased. Cancer among black women is appalling and should be decreased. So are AIDS, reckless child-bearing, depression, poverty, etc. We should address those issues but only based on a well-known principle: It’s Not What You Say But How You Say It.

If you tell someone that she needs to lose weight because she’s a fat pig that nobody wants, that’s ignorant. Tell her to lose weight because she might live longer, have more energy, and romantic options, she just might listen. At the same time, the listener must admit that fat is a problem.  Don’t reject the message and then complain when you develop some obesity related illness.  Lastly, there is nothing wrong with losing weight to increase your romantic options. Black women, heck women in general have been told for too long that they are wrong for longing for romance.

At the same, preaching against OOW births has become hate-speech on the part of some.  IT IS WRONG TO REFER TO CHILDREN AS BASTARDS! IT IS WRONG TO PENALIZE CHILDREN FOR THE MISTAKES MADE BY THEIR PARENTS. And no, I’m not implying that having kids OOW is necessarily a mistake. Think about it, how can you on one hand claim to be for BWE and then, like our enemies, blame black single mothers for the problems of the black collective?

Why does the color of a black woman’s man matter when it comes to our empowerment? On one hand we embrace any almighty white, Asian, or Latino man if he prefers black women and vice versa but sistas who are black man only are idiots. Let me make it abundantly clear that I DO NOT SUPPORT BLACK MANHOOD NOR BLACK LOVE and I WILL NOT BE SHOWING UP TO PROTEST WHEN A BLACK MAN IS SHOT OR KILLED but I respect a woman’s right to limit herself to dating black men. No race of men has demonstrated absolute love for ANY race of women, not even white men for white women (Jewish Holocaust, Salem Witch Trials) So if we hate one group of men, we might as well hate them all AND the male-identified women who support them. I should add that hating an entire group is illogical.

Finally, there have been comments that I rejected because they disrespected other BWE bloggers.  To my knowledge, no BWE blogger has allowed people to attack me on their blog. So my policy is as long as you don’t allow me to be trashed on your blog, I won’t allow you to be trashed on mine. I’m not directing this post to any one blogger because I’ve seen various offenses on various blogs and I’m not perfect either.  I also don’t care about someone’s difference of opinion because I deal with differences regularly. If you put black women first, I’m on your side and I hope you’re on mine. Black women are trashed and dashed daily, FOR HEAVEN’S SAKE, WE DON’T NEED THOSE WHO CLAIM TO FIGHT FOR US TO BE ENEMIES AS WELL. CUT YOUR FELLOW SISTAS SOME SLACK.

what you brought in does not support your claim. A bastard according to the bible is one born from a union that should not be. Thus a bastard could also have been born IN WEDLOCK. That includes children born from parents that are relatives, adultery, some even say if the parents are of two different races as your “evidence” suggests (mixed population, mongrel race). That alone kills BWE because of it's promo of IR as an option for black women. Do you follow the teachings of the bible? I agree that OOW and Obesity needs to be addressed which is why I participated in NWNW. But to say that all we need is tough talk shows that you lack understanding of what leads to certain problems like obesity (like eating disorders). So if all you can provide is tough talk then you really need to get out of this fight since you'd have nothing of value to add.

Out of wedlock children are called bastards in the Bible.

No they aren't. Bastards, according to the bible are children of incest or adultery. It should also be noted that Mosaic law called for child to be stoned to death for disobedience.
